IdentityA simple tip that could give your blog a new identity – have you come across one till today. No? You are right, because there is none.

The success of any business depends upon how you and your product is identified by your customers. When the competition is fierce as in Internet Marketing business, an “Identity” makes all the difference. But how will you create an identity of you own, especially in blogging and more so if you are in a niche that has a lot of competition?

What constitutes identity? What are the ingredients of identity?

The distinct personality of an individual regarded as a persisting entity; individuality.

How do you identify McDonalds and Dominos from a mile away or, Ebay while you are browsing the internet. It is their identity that distuinguishes them from their competitors. If you are to be asked as to what was it that helped you distuinguish these brands, I am sure the first answer is “The LOGO”.

A logo is something that helps identify a brand, even by a kid. So it is important that any business has a unique and good logo that is in line with its individuality.

In addition to a logo, there are certain other things that form a constituent of “Identity”. These are as follows:

  • A unique design.
  • A unique punchline.
  • A Brand Name.

If you are new to the internet marketing business or, have been around with little or, no success, it is time for you to evaluate you individuality.

Hugely successful blogs like Problogger, Copyblogger etc. have a unique brand name. Whereas a blog like that of entrepreneurs-journey is a brand because of the author Yaro Starak and the authors name is the brand there.

It is not uncommon for people to misinterpret a brand name. Just bear in mind that all you need to have is a unique name that people can remember and will identify you or, you business with.

But that is not the case with a logo. A “Logo” just cannot be your name. It has to be a well-designed, meaningful graphic that is identifiable with your business. If you are good at designing, take some time out to design a good logo. But if you are not a good designer, it is always advisable to get one designed from a professional designer.

In case you are not able to find a good deal, I can get a logo designed as per your requirement, from a very close friend of mine who runs a designing business. He will give you a discount of 50% on designing a logo and will get it designed for as little as $70.00.
